SopaipillasSopaipillas are a common dessert all over South and North America. They are quite easy to make, very cheap, and have a great taste for dessert. Sopaipillas were started in Chile, where the name came from two different bread types found in Chiles crops. The basic Sopaipilla consists of warm baked dough sweetened with honey on the top. Variations can include chocolate toppings, fillings inside, and many other choices. They are served throughout the world, in SOuth America, Europe, the U.S, and plenty of other countries. Most places in the U.S. have outstanding Sopaipillas to people, but there is nothing like a home-made Chilean Sopaipilla. They begin from scratch, most bakers can walk out of their house and pick up the freshest wheat, and eventually they turn it into perfection.
